About John

John was originally captivated by landscape photography~ particularly in the mountains of Telluride, Colorado and the Desert Southwest, where photography became his all-consuming passion. 

After two decades in Cave Creek, Arizona, John developed a true appreciation for the beautiful landscape and lush vegetation that the Sonoran Desert has to offer. It wasn't long until John started exploring more of the west, California Coast, Lake Tahoe, Hawaii, Pacific Northwest, Utah and many places in between.

Conservation is a key theme in John's photography. Through showing the beauty of nature, John hopes to encourage others to go out and discover the wonders the natural world has to offer, to care enough about it to help preserve what remains. 

John has had the greatest privilege of studying the art under some of the greatest photographers, specifically, those whom have been regularly featured in the highly acclaimed, Arizona Highways Magazine.
